Tree Felling & Pruning

Controlled removal of hazardous, dead or oversized trees, and crown reduction or shaping for trees you're keeping. Owner supervised on every job, with permit handling for protected species like milkwood built into the process, not an afterthought.

The direct answers.

Written to answer what people actually ask, first, before the marketing copy.

Do I need a permit to fell a tree in Cape Town?
Sometimes. Protected and heritage species such as milkwood cannot legally be felled, pruned significantly or moved without a permit from national authorities. We identify the species on our first site visit and handle the permit application if one's required, at no extra confusion to you.
How long does a typical felling job take?
A single, accessible tree is usually a half day including clean up. Larger, hazardous or hard to reach trees, or multi tree site clearing, are quoted individually after an on site assessment.
What happens to the wood and debris afterwards?
All material is chipped or removed on the same visit. Larger logs can be left on site as firewood on request, or taken away and included in our bulk wood chip mulch supply.
Is CVES fully insured for this work?
Yes, on every job, residential or commercial. Justin oversees each callout personally rather than sending an unsupervised crew.
